So, I’m a school mum now. My Mr Almost 5 started Prep this year. My daughter turns 3 in a few months. Cool story, but I can almost hear you asking – what on earth does that have to do with clutch bags???

I’ll tell you – I realised something recently – I don’t actually need to be carrying around an enormous handbag filled with toddler paraphernalia anymore!

Enter: the clutch bag. Great, but I do have a few requirements before I’ll elevate any clutch to ‘must have’ status:

  1. It has to be big enough to fit my phone, keys, lipstick and some cash in it.
  2. It has to be affordable – under $100 (or even better – under $50!)
  3. It’s got to have something to set it apart from the others – whether it’s the print, it’s functionality or price – there’s got to be some wow factor.

Here are four clutch bags that have made the cut and made it onto this week’s Wishlist.

This funky little ‘Good Vibrations’ clutch is from Pickle and Co. I love the bright lining and tassel and the fact that it’s handcrafted in Brisbane. You can make it yours HERE for $40.

A favourite label of mine at the moment has to be Caramel and Co (another Brisbane based business!) for their simple, classic and affordable bags. This ‘Vegas’ clutch comes in black, pink, silver (pictured) and gold with hot pink lining. You can have your very own HERE for a tiny $34.95.

There’s nothing like adding some serious bling to an otherwise fairly serious outfit. This eye catching clutch from SFH Designs is guaranteed to turn heads, and if you love it as much as I do you can buy it HERE for $99.

Finally, a clutch that I have used every single day since the gorgeous girls at The Redletter Club sent it to me. This ‘Madison’ clutch doubles as a wallet and has slots for your cards as well as space for all your other necessities. It also comes with two detachable straps (one for your shoulder, one for your wrist) so you can wear it three different ways. Buy it HERE for $99.

How often do you use a clutch bag?
